Bournemouth University’s Global Business Management (Hons) (online, full-time) course is one of the UK’s longest-running online business courses. It has dual accreditation from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), the UK’s only chartered professional body dedicated to promoting the highest standards of management and leadership excellence.

Course Overview:

The business world is becoming increasingly globalised. This full-time online degree will provide you with a wide range of skills to launch a successful career in global business management or advance your current career.

You will have the opportunity to gain a thorough understanding of organisations, their management, the economy, and the global business environment. You will learn new skills in marketing, management, finance, project management, operations management, and human resources so that when you graduate, you will have a diverse set of globally relevant skills applicable to a wide range of business areas.

This course is entirely delivered online, making it ideal for those who live or work a long distance away from Bournemouth, as well as international students who are unable to attend the university in person. It also appeals to Armed Forces personnel stationed overseas or contemplating relocating. The course was created in collaboration with the MOD. It is ELCAS-approved, allowing Armed Forces personnel to defray the majority of course fees through the ELC scheme.

If you are not interested in pursuing a full Honours degree, you can still obtain a nationally-recognised qualification such as a Certificate of Higher Education in Global Business Management or a Diploma of Higher Education in Global Business Management. According to Unistats, 90% of our final-year students said that our library resources (e.g., books, online services, and learning spaces) helped them learn well.

In your third year (between Levels 5 and 6), you can do a 30-week placement to improve your CV and graduate employability while also putting everything you’ve studied about marketing, management, finance, project management, operations management, and human resources into practice.
