Course overview

This online BA(Hons) Combined Arts degree is structured around a broad learning experience, drawing on diverse academic and creative fields, meaning that you will graduate with discipline-specific skills for the creative industries, but also with an ability to grapple with complex challenges through a transdisciplinary lens – an approach that goes beyond merging disciplines to create new ones.

Graduates of BA(Hons) Combined Arts: Creativity will have an enhanced awareness of their personal creative practice skillset, confidence in time management and problem-solving, and the ability to work in an inclusive and transdisciplinary way with others in creative environments.

As a result, graduates of this course are ideally positioned for roles such as:

Arts officer, producer or director
Graphic or multimedia designer
Photographic, audio-visual and broadcast operations
Creative brand and project management
Design technician
Marketing and user experience
PhD-level study

BA/BSc(Hons) degree: minimum 64 UCAS Tariff points
Portfolio
Some of our online undergraduate degrees require you to create and submit a digital portfolio as part of the application process.

Applying without UCAS points
We’ll welcome your application if you have formal or ‘certified’ learning (such as training courses not run by universities or colleges) and learning from work experience or self-study. This is called Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL), and should have been gained within the last five years, and be equivalent to the learning outcomes of our minimum entry qualifications.

English Language Requirements
If your first language is not English, you’ll need to take an English Language test.

The university accept:

IELTS – minimum overall score of IELTS 6.0 with at least 5.5 in Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening

Falmouth also accept a range of other recognised English language qualifications.
