During the Arts and Humanities (Music) (Honours) degree from The Open University you’ll take at least two specialist music modules. One investigates how music relates to social contexts, historically and in the present day, and one focuses on developing practical musical skills and collaborative music-making through sustained critical reflection. You’ll work with a wide range of musical styles and develop skills in analysing, creating and writing about music.

Alongside your study of music, you can choose to study a second specialism from the subjects listed above. This will entitle you to include both subjects in the name of your degree, or complete your degree with modules chosen from a wide range of options.
