The study of Environmental Sciences is a field that encompasses both the natural and social sciences. It examines how humans interact with their environment, as well as what effects those interactions have on the environment. It also studies how environmental changes affect society, and vice versa. Environmental science can be studied from many different perspectives such as biological or physical sciences, but it can also be studied through engineering, geography or sociology. The different perspectives provide unique insights and viewpoints on assessing the impact of human activity on ecosystems, determining ways to protect these areas from pollution, climate change and other risks.
