Course Details
This curriculum is provided in cooperation with the Woodbrooke Postgraduate Quaker Study Centre and the Department of Politics, Philosophy (PPR).
The MA program’s objective is to familiarise you with the theories, concerns, and processes underlying Quakerism’s history, theology, and sociology in a worldwide context. We provide you with the chance to develop your research methods and, to assist you in comprehending the contemporary global environment, the course includes a module on international relation theories.
The curriculum is often of special interest to individuals interested in Quaker theology and history, religious communities’ adaptation to new social and geographical contexts, globalisation and religion, and secularisation and Quakerism in a changing political climate.
