The Business and Tourism with Foundation Year degree is perfect for anyone who loves traveling, but would also like to explore entrepreneurship. You will learn about business through a tourism lens from both local and global perspectives. This set of skills has the potential to take you anywhere! The foundation year gives you an opportunity to develop core academic skills that are necessary in order successfully complete your undergraduate coursework on the degree. You’ll build up your confidence in research, literacy, and explore business management at a foundation level. With this knowledge base you will be able to springboard straight into an undergraduate degree and jumpstart the start of your career.
Candidates for Arden’s online Degree with Foundation Year are required to submit a personal statement (of between 350-550 words) or attend an online interview demonstrating an ability to study the programme at Arden University, taking into account:
Your motivation for undertaking the programme
Relevant work experience
Prior qualifications
References
If your previous study was not in English, you will also need to have IELTS 6.0 or equivalent (no less than 5.5 in any element).
