Arden University’s MSc Accounting and Finance programme is designed for professionals seeking a unique educational experience. Taking a new approach, this course offers a distinctive examination of real-world business, supplemented by the incorporation of modern accounting and finance debates and trends.
To aid in your employability and professional advancement in today’s fintech field, this accounting and finance master’s programme will significantly enhance your digital analytical and data handling abilities. You’ll gather, study, and analyse actual data sets from real-world business situations, and then use modern accounting and finance concepts to create your own answers to the strategic issues presented.
Additionally, the course examines emerging technologies such as blockchain, fintech services, cloud computing, and distributed ledgers, which can help you hone your abilities and prepare you for a variety of accounting and financial positions. You’ll examine the influence of accounting and finance on strategic planning, to contribute to big strategic projects covering mergers and acquisitions, pricing, capital expenditure, and investment.
Standard Entry Criteria
To be eligible for our MSc Accounting and Finance degree applicants must have:
UG degree holders must have a 2.2 in a related field (ideally in a Business related discipline, but not limited to Business)
Passed level 6 degree apprenticeship (ideally in Business)
For applicants holding professional qualifications, the following entry criteria would apply:
Completed ACCA F1-F9 papers OR
CIMA Certificate, Operational and Management Level Papers OR
Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA) Fellowship OR
ICAEW Certificate and Professional Level Papers OR
AAT Full membership
Other full membership of relevant professional qualifications like CIM, CMI
Non Standard Entry Criteria
We will consider an application from applicants if they can demonstrate appropriate work experience.
At least 5 years work experience is required for consideration, in a role where applicants are able to demonstrate transferable skills – ideally within the Business discipline (not limited to Accounting and Finance).
Membership of a professional body will be desirable
