Arden Univesity’s MSc Accounting and Finance (Top-Top) degree is a fast-track master’s programme that enables fully certified CCAB accountants to build on their previous career and academic achievements.
If you have previously studied for the ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, or a similar professional body, you will be given six-module exemptions (totalling 120 credits) from Arden’s regular MSc Accounting and Finance course. This implies that you will only need to complete one module from the course, the final Financial Management Project module (60 credits), to get a full Master of Science degree.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get a full postgraduate certificate for a fraction of the cost and in a fraction of the time required to complete a full 180-credit MSc programme. The Financial Management Project module will allow you to conduct an in-depth examination of emerging accounting and finance technologies, including blockchain, fintech, cloud computing, and distributed ledgers. This will enable you to acquire up-to-date skills and information that you can instantly apply in current corporate contexts, therefore advancing your career in a variety of accounting and finance jobs.
To be eligible for the MSc Accounting and Finance (Top-Up), we need to see that you have:
• Fully qualified as a member of a professional accounting body (such as the ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, or equivalent professional body) within the past ten years.
• IELTS 6.5 (no less than 6.0 in any element); or TOEFL iBT 90; or equivalent
If you have questions about your eligibility for the course or are unsure if your existing qualifications meet the entry requirements, use the form on this page to contact the university. They will assess your background and advise on your options and application.
