About this course

The MSc in Therapeutics is intended for medical practitioners, pharmacists, specialist nurses, and others who want to expand their knowledge of common therapeutic problems.

The course aims to provide you with a solid grasp of common medical conditions as well as skills in evidence-based medicine. Graduates would be expected to acquire the knowledge and skills required to become the “local treatments specialist.”
The course is based on the findings of a leading research centre and aims to encourage critical thinking and provide students with not only practical and factual knowledge but also a basic approach to therapeutic problems, encouraging attitudes and abilities that will be of lasting value in dealing with future advances in therapy.

The MSc entails a research dissertation and is available to students who have completed the Cardiff University Postgraduate Diploma in Therapeutics at an acceptable degree.
