Medical and Healthcare Education MSc

The Medical and Healthcare Education course at Anglia Ruskin University is intended for registered practitioners from the healthcare sector who teach or study as part of their professional position. Anglia Ruskin University’s curriculum is offered face-to-face in Cambridge and Chelmsford, as well as completely online, to meet the needs of Anglia Ruskin University’s students.

The Master’s is aligned to the UK Professional Standards Framework for Higher Education and is designed to represent current patterns and practises in health professions education. It allows you to apply for Fellowship in the Higher Education Academy.

This course will give you the opportunity to engage with key teaching and learning concepts and philosophies that you can incorporate in your unique professional context. You will be guided through this phase by a variety of activities and formative tests, as well as individual tutorials that promote personal reflection and goal setting, allowing you to grow as an independent learner. You will also have the opportunity to acquire specialist skills in healthcare education related to your profession, culminating in a research project in an area of your choosing. You will have direct access to a Faculty with extensive experience in providing healthcare education.
